made a git repo finally lol

dusts hands okay hi there. this is my virtual private server. it's been around in some form or another since fucking. 2006. god damn that's a while. anyway it hosts several websites, including shoofle.net, git.shoofle.net, moss.shoofle.net, hentai.milfs.moe, and maybe more! it has a variety of stuff. some of it was brought in from beriah back in the day. shoofle.net used to be a handcrafted server written in flask, and i'm trying to migrate to making it a static site generator because i don't actually need a flask server, you know? i can spin up a subdomain at some point if i want to have a dynamic website. anyway that project is hitting roadblock after roadblock so idk when it's going to be finished. uhhhhh thanks!

oh riht i meant to put down some config stuff. i never kept a config record for this server until august 1 2022 so it's been a while. this server basically just runs debian (maybe ubuntu?) and now it's using nginx for web serving and letsencrypt for tls. uhhh thanks bye~!

upgraded gitea to 1.17.3 and gave a friend an account

upgrading gitea to forgejo: save /etc/gitea/app.ini, /var/lib/gitea, and /etc/systemd/system/gitea.service, then replace the gitea executable (which gitea), and then change smoe variable names?

set PermitRootLogin yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config because i forgor my password and wanted to be able to recover it with the root password

also resized the volume from 20gb/512mb swap to 24gb/1gb
